TEENAGER FISHER GOES SIX SHOTS CLEAR

BEFORE END OF SECOND ROUND 

 

Walker Cup teenager Oliver Fisher (West Essex) opened up a six-stroke lead at the halfway stage of the St Andrews Links Trophy today before the second round had been completed.

Oliver had rounds of 66 and 70 for a tally of 136.

His nearest challenger was Welshman and former US college circuit player Chris Cousins (Aberdare) with 69 and 73 for 142.
