NEWS FROM THE HIGHLANDS

LAURA IS NAIRN’S DOUBLE CHAMPION

 

Former Scottish girls’ champion Laura Walker has won the women’s championship of both the Nairn and Nairn Dunbar golf clubs. The last person to achieve the notable double was Louise Clark.

She followed up her victory at Nairn with rounds of 75, 74 and 76 for an aggregate of 225 to win the Nairn Dunbar championship from runner-up Kelsey MacDonald.

The women’s par is 75 and the CSS was 74, 75 and 75.

Laura's handicap is now 1.5.
