CAROL SETS KEMNAY WOMEN’S RECORD

 

 

Murcar Links player Carol Wilson has shaved two strokes off the Kemnay women’s course record with a 72 in the club’s women’s open tournament. The previous mark was set by Julie Henderson (Inverurie).

Carol had an eagle 3 at the 16^th and birdies at the first, fourth, 13^th and 14^th. She also had bogeys att the eighth, ninth 11^th, 12^th and 18^th in the following figures:

Ann Smart (Banchory) had a hole in one with a five-iron at the 142yd sixth hole in the same tournament.
