DRUMPELLIER PRO-AM

 GRAND PERFORMANCE BY CHRIS AND COLIN

 

Colin Gillies (Kingsfield) followed up his victory on Saturday by sharing first prize with Chris Kelly (Cawder) in Sunday’s Monkland Masters Charitable Trust Charity pro-am, sponsored by Alfred McAlpine Business Services, at Drumpellier Golf Club.

Both hit the four-under-par 67 and each received £1,055.

Gillies had a double-bogey 5 at the short 12th and bogeys at the seventh and 13th but he was able to make up for them with an eagle 2 at the 17th and birdies at the second, third, ninth, 14th, 15th and 18th.

Kelly had an eagle 3 at the second and birdies at the ninth, 10th, 14th, 15th and 17th. He bogeyed the fifth, eighth and 18th.
