SOPHIE STUBBS WINS AT HANDSWORTH

 

Sophie Stubbs (Shifnal), a golf scholarship student at the University of Minnesota, won the Bridget Jackson Bowl women's 36-hole open tournament at Handsworth Golf Club today.

She had rounds of 70 and 72 for an aggregate of 142 to beat strong field that included Curtis Cup selections Melissa Reid and Naomi Edwards.
