MIDLOTHIAN LEAD FIRST-DAY TABLE
Midlothian lead the table at the end of the first day of the Scottish county championship finals at Ranfurly Castle Golf Club, Bridge of Weir.
They beat Borders 6-3 in their opening match.
Lanarkshire and Northern Counties drew 4 1/2-4 1/2.
Northern Counties are bidding to win the title for the third year in a row.
