LISA HALL JOINT SECOND IN
US FUTURES TOUR EVENT
Lisa Hall from Stoke finished joint second in the latest US Futures Tour event, the Chevrolet Classic at Willowbend Golf Club in Wichita, Kansas on Sunday.
Lisa had rounds of 73, 69 and 69 for a 54-hole total of 211, tieing with Korean Seol-An Jeon (71, 71, 69) behind four-stroke winner Stacy Prammanasudh from Enid, Oklahoma.
Stacy, a former University of Tulsa star team member on the college circuit, had three rounds of 69 for a nine-under-par total of 207 for the 6,260yd, par-72 course.
She won 9,800 dollars while Lisa and Seol-An each received 6,125 dollars.
Former Curtis Cup player Rebecca Hudson from Doncaster tied for 39th place on 222 after scores of 74, 76 and 72. Her pay check amounted to 338 dollars.
Former Scottish champion Linzi Morton from Alloa missed the 36-hole cut by two shots with a total of 153 (78 and 75).
Last year’s Scottish title-winner, Heather Stirling, did not play in this Futures Tour event.
